Virginia Beach Police investigate shooting death of woman on Royal Haven Crest

VIRGINIA BEACH -- Police are investigating the weekend shooting death of a woman in her own home.
Police say the victim was found at her home on Royal Haven Crest Saturday night.
Officers are still working to determine exactly what happened, and they are waiting to hear more from the medical examiner.
So far, there is no word on whether there is any criminal involvement in the woman's death.
