The school division has audited its Feb. 17 preliminary report on student attendance for Feb. 15. Requisite adjustments have been made to reflect the final analysis of all data.

    Divisionwide: 77.14 percent
    Elementary: 79.92 percent
    Middle: 80.49 percent
    High: 70.33 percent

In total, 53,092 students were in attendance and 15,736 were absent.

An updated school by school breakdown of attendance is available here. As for staffing Saturday, Feb. 15, there were 726 substitutes hired, which compares to 751 substitutes hired the day before. Of Saturday’s 726 substitutes, 418 were teachers. A chart detailing the number of substitutes hired by job classification is available here.

Realizing that citizens will be interested in comparative data the division is also releasing its attendance data for Friday, Feb. 14, a regularly scheduled school day. It is as follows:

    Divisionwide: 96.84 percent
    Elementary: 97.31 percent
    Middle: 97.31 percent
    High: 95.76 percent
