Two women charged with setting separate fires in Hampton

Police charged 34-year-old Tamyra L. Bumpers with felony arson in connection with the burning of her 2004 Ford Expedition. Police charged 25-year-old Crystal N. Partridge for allegedly setting three separate fires to a home and vehicle.

HAMPTON -- Hampton police have made arrests in two separate arson cases.

Crews responded to a sport utility vehicle fire around 2:45 a.m. on April 11 in the 1400 block of West Pembroke Avenue.

Police charged 34-year-old Tamyra L. Bumpers with felony arson in connection with the burning of her 2004 Ford Expedition.

An arrest was also made following an investigation into a residential fire on June 23 in the first block of Anita Court. 

Authorities charged 25-year-old Crystal N. Partridge with felony arson for allegedly setting three separate fires to a home and vehicle.
