According to the State Police, a 2004 GMC Yukon was eastbound on Victory when it crossed the centerline and struck a westbound 2003 Chrysler Town & Country minivan. The impact caused the minivan to overturn onto its side.

The driver of the Yukon, Sabrina Lee Heath Miles, 47, and the driver of minivan, a 17-year-old female, both of Poquoson, were flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries that were not life threatening.
