CURRITUCK COUNTY-- Two people were arrested in Currituck County Friday in connection with a suspected meth lab.

24-year-old Buddy Ray Wenner and 48-year-old JoAnne Leigh Etheridge, both of Moyock, are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

The Currituck Narcotics Unit investigated allegations of an active meth lab at 1277 Tulls Creek Road in  Moyock.  After securing the home, the NC Bureau of Investigation was contacted for assistance, a search warrant was obtained and the illegal narcotic was safely seized, authorities stated.

Wenner is in the Currituck County jail on a secured bond of $200,000; Ethridge was in custody at the Chesapeake City Jail on an unrelated charge
