VIRGINIA BEACH-- Virginia Beach Mayor Will Sessoms wants answers regarding the arena deal by Monday.
Sessoms told our coverage partners at PilotOnline.com that he would like a tenant in the arena before asking the legislature for money to help with the project.
According to PilotOnline.com, a deal is needed before Virginia Beach city leaders can ask the General Assembly for $150 million.
There has been talk for months that Comcast-Spectator is negotiating with the Sacramento Kings to move to the new arena.
Sessoms said he is going to make an announcement about the arena proposal on Monday or Tuesday.
