VIRGINIA BEACH-What are your plans for Valentine's Day? Flowers, dinner, chocolates? How about going for a good run afterwards to run off the extra calories.
The 2014 Bon Secours In Motion Virginia is for Lovers Races is February 16.
It was originally set for Feb. 15, but organizers has to change dates since the 15 is a snow make-up day for Beach schools. The change was needed because the race required roads to be closed and the course goes by three different schools.
For participants who now can't take part in the event, organizers say they'll waive the deferral fee for you to switch your entry to 2015.
There are races for everyone in the family - young and old alike and there's a couples race as well: a 14k, 6k or 1k.
4,000 people are expected for the event, which begins at 9 a.m. The 2014 Bon Secours In Motion Virginia is For Lovers 14k and Sweetheart 6k presented by StellarOne Bank start in front of the Virginia Beach Field House.
The Cupid's 1k for youngsters (ages 3-10) starts at 8:30 a.m. in front of the Field House and finishes inside.
The Sports & Fitness Expo, which was scheduled to take place on Friday, February 14 at the Virginia Beach Field House is now Saturday, February 15 at the same time-- from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Also, the Cox High School & Princess Anne High School-sponsored CHKD Love Run/Walk will now take place Saturday, February 22.
The race will start at 9 a.m. at Thalia Elementary School.
If you have not signed up for the race and are now able to attend, registration forms will be accepted until Thursday, Feb. 13.
