BUXTON, N.C. (AP) - A public meeting is being held on a project to rebuild a beach on the Outer Banks.

The Dare County Board of Commissioners is holding the meeting Tuesday about renourishing the beach in Buxton.

Tim Kana of Coastal Science and Engineering is attending the meeting being held at the Cape Hatteras Secondary School.  He's speaking to the board about the project during the 7:30 p.m. meeting and then is fielding any questions the board members or the public may have.
