UPDATE 9/2: Police identified three people who helped save the life of a 65-year-old who had a heart attack during the American Music Festival at the Oceanfront -- Thomas Fields and Derek Fuller of Virginia Beach and Leigh Curran of Chesapeake.

The three will be nominated for a Citizen Life Saving Award, police said.

VIRGINIA BEACH -- Police are hoping to find two people who helped save the life of a 65-year-old who had a heart attack during the American Music Festival at the Oceanfront.

Officers said he went into cardiac arrest at 6th Street and the Boardwalk Friday night.

Two saw he was in trouble and jumped in to help him.

Police who were there relieved those two people. A sergeant used an Automatic External Defibrillator to help him.

He was was awake and talking when paramedics took him to the hospital.\
