CURRITUCK COUNTY -- Currituck County deputies say they've broken up a drug-sales ring being run from a motel in Jarvisburg.

Three people were arrested Thursday at the Sea Oats Motel at 112 North River Drive.

The Sheriff's Office served a warrant after they made several controlled drug buys from room #1 at the motel.

Deputies arrested Rashawn Anthony, Garrett White and Jammie Marquis at the motel after they exercised a search warrant.

The three are charged with possessing drug paraphernalia.   Anthony is also charged with possession of cocaine and maintain vehicle/dwelling/place.  White is also charged with buy/sell vehicle no license.

Police said they seized 20 grams of cocaine, marijuana, paraphernalia and a flat screen TV from the motel room.

Police say White came to the motel to trade the TV for two bags of heroin.

White and Marquis have bonded out of jail. Anthony remains in jail on a $10,000 bond.
