PORTSMOUTH -- A two-alarm fire on Jefferson Street burned the Chesapeake Service Systems warehouse and injured two firefighters overnight.

The building houses equipment used to wash commercial linens and provides jobs to people who are severely disabled.

No one was there when the fire broke out, but of the two firefighters injured, one had to go be taken to the hospital.

There is hope that the business is not a total loss.
