VIRGINIA BEACH - A woman riding a scooter was killed in a three-vehicle collision in Va. Beach, police said.
Police blocked off the intersection of London Bridge and Shipps Corner roads, near Dam Neck, following the 11:30 a.m. crash.
Drivers in the area were detoured until 4 p.m. so investigators could determine how the collision occurred.
It wasn't clear if anyone else had been hurt. The name of the woman who died hasn't been released.
