HAMPTON -- There have been no charges filed following a 12-hour domestic stand-off in Hampton Monday.

The SWAT Team, as well as the Crisis Negotiations Team responded to the 400 block of Walnut Street around 11 p.m. because they feared someone inside the home was in danger.

Police said there were two children, ages 12 and 14, and two adults holed up inside the home.

When officers came in contact with an adult female resident, she refused to open the door or come out to speak with the officers.

After several hours, a woman and the children came out of the home unharmed.  Two hours later the suspect was taken into custody.

Before and during the stand off police say they were getting internal and external calls from the house about domestic danger.

According to police, the alleged victim is now recanting her story and is no longer cooperating with investigators.

Police have responded to calls at the house many times:
Nov. 2013 -- 911 hang up.
Dec. 2013 -- Larceny and suspicious vehicle
Jan. 2014 -- Runaway
Jan 2014 -- Domestic call
March 2014 -- Suspicious vehicle
March 2014 -- Report of threatening incident
March 2014 -- Including Monday's incident, there were five domestic related calls

Detectives continue to investigate.
