NEWPORT NEWS-- Three men were injured by gunfire Friday night in Newport News.
Police responded to a shooting in the area of 28th and Chestnut at 8:47pm Friday. They found an adult male shooting victim at 27th and Chestnut.
While interviewing the man, two other male victims with gunshot wounds approached the officers. The men were shot in the arm, leg, or foot.
All three men were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the victims were 18, 19 and 46. The 18-and 19-year-old-men knew each other.
Investigators think there was more than one shooter because of the number of shell casings on the scene.
Police say they have no suspects but their investigation is continuing.
