NEWPORT NEWS-- The family of a teenager murdered is asking the community for help to find the killer.

One year ago, someone shot 17-year-old Jeffrey Jackson outside his Newport News apartment home.

The person hasn't been caught.

Those close to Jackson held a vigil Saturday to raise awareness about the unsolved murder.

Family members are pleading with anyone who has information to come forward.

They have raised hundreds of dollars for a cash reward, through community donations.

Call the crime line at 1-888-Lock-U-Up with any tips.
