HAMPTON -- A Norfolk man pulled a knife and robbed a man in Hampton.

Police say 49-year-old Bi Chao Chen approached the man just before 2 a.m. Wednesday on Mercury Blvd. He took money, a wallet and credit cards from the 38-year-old from New York, said Sgt. Jason Price, and then drove off.

"The victim was employed by a bus company, Go To Bus, that traveled from New York to Virginia. He was preparing the bus for a trip when the incident occurred, Sgt. Price told WVEC.com.

Bi Chao Chen was arrested by Norfolk Police at his home and will be charged in Hampton with robbery and use of a knife in commission of a felony.

Sgt. Price said it wasn't clear whether the two men know each other.
