Scooter-SUV accident
VIRGINIA BEACH - The driver of a motor scooter was killed Thursday morning in a collision with an SUV.
Va. Beach Police say the crash occurred at 6:47 a.m. at the intersection of Curry Comb Ct. and Princess Anne Rd. near the Municipal Center.
The scooter driver died at the hospital, said police spokesman MPO Jimmy Barnes.
The driver's name won't be released until family is notified.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
