Chesapeake robberies
CHESAPEAKE – Police say a man committed two robberies in less than two hours.
The man robbed BB&T bank on Greenbrier Parkway around 9:00 a.m. on September 1 and then the Chartway Credit Union inside Farm Fresh on Providence Road around 10:20 a.m.
Police released a photo from the bank’s surveillance camera and video from the Farm Fresh.
The suspect is 30-40 years old, around 6’2" tall, 220-270 pounds and wore a black ball cap, sunglasses, a black shirt and black baggy pants.
He drove away from the BB&T robbery in a four-door compact car, possibly black.
