CHESAPEAKE-- A man was shot in the leg while walking down the street in the South Norfolk area of Chesapeake.
Around 12:43 a.m. on Sunday morning a man was shot in the leg near the 2000 block of Linster Street.
The victim told police that he was walking down the street when he heard a gunshot and felt a pain in his leg. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk Gneral Hospital and was treated for his injuries.
Police said that due to the circumstances around the shooting, there is no suspect at this time.
