WILLIAMSBURG -- Authorities say they've arrested a peeping Tom.

30-year-old Burton Codey Rogers of James City County is accused of looking into the apartments in the Richmond Road area between July 21-28.

The first incident was reported around 11 a.m. on July 21 in the 1200 block of Richmond Road.

Officers observed chairs under the window of college-aged girls' apartments, Major Greg Riley told WVEC.com.

On July 28, Riley says Williamsburg Police obtained photos of the man and staked out the area and then spotted him going into the same area and peeping through an apartment window.

Rogers, who is out on bail, is charged with seven counts of peeping.

According to online court records, he's due in court on August 5.
