Man assaulted, robbed at gunpoint in Suffolk

SUFFOLK -- Police are looking for two suspects they say assaulted and robbed a man in Suffolk Tuesday night.

Police say the victim had left a convenience store on his bike and was "jumped" by two men at 6th Street and E. Washington St.

According to police, one of the suspects had a handgun.  The suspects allegedly dragged the man to the ground and stole his cash.

The victim received minor injuries and was transported to Sentara Obici Hospital for treatment. 

The investigation is ongoing.
