Rodrigo R. Clima, 58, was charged with two counts each of abduction and kidnapping, brandishing a firearm, use or display firearm in commission of felony and reckless handling of firearm.

SUFFOLK -- A Virginia Beach man was arrested Thursday for allegedly kidnapping two hunters at gunpoint last November.

Rodrigo R. Clima, 58, was charged with two counts each of abduction and kidnapping, brandishing a firearm, use or display firearm in commission of felony and reckless handling of firearm.

Police say around noon on November 30, Clima confronted two hunters at gunpoint in the 3700 block of Butler Drive.

Clima allegedly demanded the hunters unload their weapons and drop them on the ground.

There were no injuries.   

Clima is currently being held without bond at Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
