Local high school bands set benefit concert for Operation Smile

NORFOLK -Students from 14 different high schools in the Hampton Roads area are joining forces to raise more than 100 surgeries for Operation Smile.

It's the 2014 Rock the Smile benefit concert on February 14.  The bands performing on this night will consist of: Llamas at Brunch (formally Carbon Jam), Will Overman, ZigZag, DJ Please, School of Rock, Zoe Connor, Mallory Ballou, Rachel Braig, Emma Rosenblum, and Wave Church performances.  

There also will be a raffle, a ping pong table and Southwest Airline tickets and other prizes up for grabs.  

Operation Smile, founded in Norfolk in 1982, is a charity that provides surgeries around the world for children with cleft lips and cleft palates.
