Poll:
What do you think are the top five stories of the year in Hampton Roads? Click on each choice to learn more. Choose up to FIVE.

2013 was an eventful year in news, both in the Hampton Roads area and across the country. On a national level, words like "sequester" and "shutdown" dominated the headlines AND had a huge impact on our area.

Locally, stories like the debate over tunnel tolls at the Downtown and Midtown tunnels and the Bonner Bridge closure were big stories. You also had the arson cases on the Eastern Shore and hot races for governor and attorney general of Virginia.

Starting Monday on 13News Now at 6 p.m., we will count down what we think are the top five stories of the year. We started our list with ten...and that's where you come in. We want you to vote in the poll for what you think the biggest stories of the year are. You can even click on each choice to read more about what happened in 2013. We'll count down our top 5 throughout the week.
