CHESAPEAKE-Chesapeake Police say you can help them fight crime in your neighborhood.

If you have cameras installed at your home or business, you can register their locations online. If a crime happens near one of the cameras, detectives will contact you to see if the cameras saw it.

The program, called CUSTODY, allows detectives the chance to develop leads and help keep your neighborhoods stay safe, according to police.

To join the program, go to the Police Department Website and fill out the form.

Much more on the program beginning on 13News Now at 5.
