HAMPTON -- The relocation process for residents of Lincoln Park apartments in Hampton could be getting easier.

The government subsidized housing on LaSalle Avenue near Pembroke Avenue is going to be demolished.  Tenants have known this for month.   But, some of them claim the relocation process is complicated.

A conference call Thursday morning with HUD, the Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority, the Hampton Chapter of the NAACP, addressed some of the issues. .

Gaylene Kanoyton, President of local NAACP said "Things will be simplified. Tenants just need the procedure to be very clear and know what resources are available."

There will be a housing fair at Lincoln Park, Saturday July 26, for residents and potential landlords.
