Hair stylists give back to kids in need

HAMPTON- A group of dedicated hair stylists are giving back to the community providing free hair cuts, perms and natural hair styles to children just in time for the first day of school.

It's the first annual "looking cool for school event" sponsored by the Hampton Roads Professional Beauty Technicians.  The day of beauty is free.

Each kid will also leave with a goodie bag filled with school supplies and hair care products.

Appointments between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. were available for Monday.
