VIRGINIA BEACH – Police are searching for the thieves who are targeting holiday decorations.
It started with two stolen inflatables from a home in Baylake Pines.
"I think it's probably people running around through neighborhoods and they see something fun and they take it," said Susan Lyon.
Thieves also stole four snowmen decorations at the Wise residence. It’s a display the homeowner says takes weeks to set up.
"I guess we went out one morning to do more decorating and the snowmen were gone," explained Nicole Wise. "It's sad. I don't know why anyone would do that."
