VIRGINIA BEACH -- Green Run High School's Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets celebrated their first-place win at a five-state competition of NJROTC students.

They were tested in academics, uniform inspection and knowledge, athletics and drill.

This was the second straight win for the student/cadets.

It's estimated that it will cost about $17,000 to send 40 cadets to the national competition in Pensacola, Florida.
