EDENTON, N.C. (AP) — An Edenton, North Carolina family will hold a funeral Wednesday for a baby boy who died after being injured in Friday's tornadoes.

11-month-old Gavin Soto's funeral comes a day before he would have turned 1. His great-aunt, Sue Brown, said the little boy was in a century-old frame house on his grandfather's farm that collapsed in high winds. He died at the hospital on Sunday.

More than a dozen people were reported injured and around 200 home and businesses destroyed or damaged Friday.

According to the obituary, funeral services will be at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, by the Rev. David Brooks. A private burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
