CURRITUCK, N.C.-- Several fundraisers are being set up for a missing boater in North Carolina.

Ricky Ballance went missing a week ago today, and his sister told WVEC.com that they are raising money to continue the search.

The Albemarle Farm and Garden Clothing in Elizabeth City, North Carolina is selling short sleeve and long sleeve shirts for $17-$35.

Also the Wesley United Methodist Church in Shiloh, North Carolina has taken up a fund for the missing canoeist.

The family wants to remind the public that they are still seeking volunteers with flat boats and air boats to help search the area where he went missing.
