PORTSMOUTH—Dozens of friends and family turned out to a vigil Friday night in Port Norfolk to honor the lives of a man and woman killed two years ago.

David Gough Jr., 47, and Ann Gilkerson, 41, were stabbed to death Feb. 7, 2012.

Gough’s body was found inside Gilkerson’s car, which had been set on fire down the street from his duplex on Broad Street.

Gilkerson’s body was found inside Gough’s home.

On Friday night, loved ones from both victim’s family came to Fountain Park, just down the street from the grisly murders, to honor them in a candle light vigil.

"It's very frustrating. I think I handled it really well up until right now, it's like, two years, it's been long enough I really want some answers," said Joanne Gough, David’s mother.

Gough says she calls the Portsmouth Police Department and Commonwealth Attorney’s office once a month looking for updates.

Detectives are currently pursing leads, but no persons of interest have been named, according to Det. Misty Holley with Portsmouth PD.

If anyone has information that could help police, they are asked to call Crimeline at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
