ELIZABETH CITY, NC—Police are searching for a 25-year-old man who has been missing for two days.

Officers told 13News Now, Jovan Lee Morris was last seen Friday evening at a friend’s home at 261 Woodstock II Apartments. Morris left to pick up his girlfriend from work, but he never made it there.

Early Saturday afternoon, Morris’s girlfriend told police she found his vehicle, a white Ford Crown Victoria, parked near the apartments.

Police are currently interviewing witnesses and following leads as they come in.  Morris is described as 5’07”- 150lbs.

Morris has ties to Raleigh and Greenville, North Carolina and the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. At this time, it is not known if foul play is involved.
