Driver dies in single vehicle accident in Suffolk

SUFFOLK- Police say a vehicle ran off the road Friday night and hit a pole, killing the driver. The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. at Bridge Road and I-164.
The driver died at the hospital.
The ramp from I-664 onto Rt. 17 was closed while emergency crews worked the scene.
The accident is still under investigation.
