YORK COUNTY-A domestic dispute turned violent inside a York County home.

Sheriff's deputies were called to Wheeley Circle around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

They found a man who'd been shot twice and got him to the hospital. Then, authorities were called back to the home, where they found his wounded wife. She had an injury on her forehead and a stab wound that investigators believe was self-inflicted.

The man was treated at the hospital for a gunshot to his head and one arm and has been released; the woman remains hospitalized.

The investigation continues; authorities did not release their names.
