VIRGINIA BEACH -- Two Virginia Beach motels are on a list of the nation's dirtiest hotels.
Trip Advisor.com provides recommendations for hotels, resorts, inns, vacations and more, and lets the public give reviews of places they've gone.
According to the list, the Tropicana Resort Hotel on Atlantic Avenue and Super 8 Va. Beach at 26th and Atlantic are #3 and #4 on the list.
170 reviews for Tropicana includes statements like "Dont' stay here ever!" and "Noise Noise Noise," but others noted "Good stay for the money" and "Really nice honeymoon suite."
As for comments about the Super 8, of 47 reviews, 90 percent of them recommended against staying there; however, not all the reviews were bad.
As for the #1 hotel on the list, it's Heritage Marina Hotel in San Francisco.
