Deer carcass, organs left on doorstep of York Co. home

YORK CO. -- A person in York County found a dead deer carcass on their front porch and now the Sheriff's Office is looking for answers.

The York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office says a person who lives in the 100 block of Mallard Road found the carcass on his front porch Wednesday morning.

Officials say sometime overnight the small deer was placed on the door mat and then gutted.

The internal organs of the deer were laid out on the porch.
