Suffolk Plane Crash
6/2 UPDATE: Va. State Police say Kelly T. Landrum of Halifax was in the Van’s experimental aircraft, was making a descent, when it struck the tops of several trees.
Landrum suffered a minor cut. The FAA is investigating.
SUFFOLK -- Crews are on the scene of a two-seater plane crash in Suffolk.
According to spokeswoman Diana Klink, the plane crashed around 9:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Murphys Mill Road.
The pilot was not injured, Klink said.
