NORFOLK---Ghent business leaders are sending out warnings to residents about vandalized cars.

Police say there are more than 40 unsolved cases in the area and many more have gone unreported.

The most recent case of vandalism happened Thursday at the corner of 21st Street and Granby Street.  Police say a car window was busted out and a snowboard was stolen.

"Just to come out in the morning and see my stuff all scattered about is really frustrating," said Scott Robinett. "They just come and rifle through it."

People living in Ghent say warmer weather typically brings more break-ins.
