VIRGINIA BEACH -- A car plowed into a building in Va. Beach Wednesday morning.
It happened around 11:00 a.m. at a building that houses Independence Family Medicine and Eye Specialists Ltd. at 813 Independence Blvd.
The vehicle hit the side of the building and went into a waiting room of the doctor's office.
The driver was an optometry patient and she told police her foot slipped, sending her car into the building.
Battalion Chief Tim Riley say the driver and a person in the waiting room were treated for minor injuries.
The vehicle was pulled from the building and towed away.
Repairs are being made and Riley says the building should be safe to open on Thursday.
No charges will be filed, police said.
