UPDATE 3/26:  Police have charged a 17 and 15-year-old with attempted carjacking, conspiracy to commit a carjacking and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.

NORFOLK -- A Norview Checkered cab driver was able to escape unarmed after two men, one wearing pajama pants, tried to carjack him early Tuesday morning.

According to police, the driver was waiting for his fair around 8 a.m. in the 100 block of W. Indian River Road when two men came up and displayed a shotgun. 

Police say the cab driver sped away without being injured. 

The suspects were both black males between 18 and 20 years old and around 5 feet 11 inches tall.  One suspect was around 170 pounds and was wearing blue jeans, a brown or burgundy sweater and a black ski mask covering his face. The second suspect was wearing blue pajama pants with gold stripes or dots.
