NEWPORT NEWS - Someone set fire inside a Newport News church.

Authorities say they found burned pages of a bible that was on an altar in Saint Andrews Episcopal Church on Main Street on Wednesday.

Newport News fire officials say the bible was in a 24-hour prayer chapel, so they aren't sure yet when the fire was set.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is investigating, which is standard procedure whenever there's a fire at a place of worship.
