NORFOLK -- What a difference a day makes.
Wednesday will be in the 70s and breezy -- nice beach weather. Thursday, you'll need your coat. It will be 30-35 degrees cooler, thanks to a blast of cold weather tonight.
13News Now Meteorologist Julie Wilcox explains the extremes in the weather.
"Ahead of the cold front is warmer air, with mild air flowing in from the southwest. The front will spark a few showers and potentially a few storms tonight. The bigger story is the change in wind direction. Behind the front is an onslaught of colder air out of the northwest, which means highs struggling to make it out of the 30s on Thursday," she said.
Friday's a little warmer - in the low 50s and in the 50s and 60s for the weekend.
