VIRGINIA BEACH-- Police have identified the suspect who died in a double shooting in Virginia Beach on April 26.

Police say 51-year-old Helen Ruth DeHarde of the 1300 block of Crane Crescent in Virginia Beach died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police identified  the victim as Virginia Beach resident Andrew J. Bonelli. 50-year-old Bonelli's last known address was on Birdneck Road.

On Friday night officers received call of a gunshot victim in the 5700 block of Bayside Road around 6 p.m. and when they arrived, they found a male victim shot.

Shortly after arriving, they were made aware of a second victim in a car in the 5500 block of Campus Drive.  At the second scene, they found a female victim shot.

Both victims were taken to Sentara Norfolk General.  Bonelli died a short time later.

Police are still investigating, but confirm that Bonelli and DeHarde knew each other.
