SOUTHERN SHORES, N.C.-- Authorities in Dare County found a 44 year old woman Friday night who had been missing since 10 a.m. Friday morning.
Ella Giryn was last seen walking east on Hickory Trail in the town of Southern Shores.
There was also a possible sighting several hours later near the intersection of South Dogwood Trail and US Highway 158 near the Wright Memoral Bridge.
Giryn from Maryland was found safe around 9:45 p.m..
