BEDFORD, Va. (AP) — Bedford County authorities say a fisherman has discovered a body along the banks of the James River.
Sheriff Mike Brown says the body was discovered at 8:30 a.m. Sunday near the Snowden Bridge.
Brown says the body has been sent to the state medical examiner. Investigators are searching records for missing person cases in the area.
