RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — The Virginia Lottery says the first Powerball offering in the state produced 13,517 winners, but none were for the jackpot.

Tickets for the multistate Powerball game went on sale for the first time in Virginia on Sunday, and the first drawing was Wednesday. The Virginia winners claimed $100,286 in prizes, with two tickets good for $10,000 and 56 for $100.

Nobody in any of the other Powerball states won the jackpot either, so the top prize grows to an estimated $140 million for Saturday's drawing.
