4-year old boy shot in Va. Beach
VIRGINIA BEACH -- A four-year-old remains in critical condition after he was accidentally shot, police said.
Nicholas A. Pierce, 26, was arraigned in Va. Beach Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Friday morning on a charge related to the 4:15 p.m. Thursday shooting in his Buckhorn Place home.
Appearing via video, Pierce said he had his own attorney to defend him on a felony child neglect charge.
Police are not releasing information about the circumstances of the shooting and the incident remains under investigation.
Pierce will remain in jail for now. The judge set a bond hearing for Tuesday, February 14.
