WILLIAMSBURG -- Four William and Mary students and a friend were robbed off campus Monday night.

According to the College, they were walking on Mt. Vernon Avenue when two men with weapons - possibly a gun and a knife - demanded personal items.

The five weren't hurt.

Williamsburg Police are investigating, looking for suspects described as either black or Hispanic males in their late teens to early 20s, 5'9'' to 5'10'' tall with medium builds.

If you know anything about this incident that occurred around 10:00 p.m., contact Crime Line at 1-800-LOCK-U-UP or the police department at 757-220-2331.

Ginger Ambler, the vice president for student affairs, sent a campus message, which included information about the College's ESCORT service for students to get a safe walk/ride.
