SUFFOLK -- Two people were hurt when a tractor-trailer and two cars collided in Suffolk Wednesday morning.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. on Route 58 eastbound near the weigh scales and two of three lanes were closed for nearly 90 minutes.
City spokeswoman Diana Klink says it appears the rig, traveling in the middle lane, stuck a Nissan Altima. The impact caused the vehicle to spin into the center guardrail and then it was struck by a Honda 4-door.
Klink says the drivers of the cars were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
